Faculty presentation

The Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca was recently ranked 1st among the Italian university in the Times Education Ranking. This is undoubtedly due to the quality of its courses, its research and the services offered to students, including job opportunities. The Faculty of Economics, the largest in number of students among the Faculties of Milano Bicocca, has a very strong international policy and actively pursues collaborations and agreements in Europe and outside Europe. It has recently concluded agreements (student and staff exchanges, double degrees) with Universities and Graduate Schools in South Africa, Russia, Peru, Argentina, India. Within the framework of the European Erasmus program, the Faculty holds bilateral agreements with more than 80 universities in countries all over the European Union.
With its approximately 8000 students registered in the four undergraduate Bachelor’s degrees:

  • Banking Finance and Insurance;
  • Business Economics;
  • Management and Accounting;
  • Marketing, Communication and Global Markets 

and the five post-graduate degrees :

  • Business Administration;
  • Economics;
  • Economics and Finance; 
  • Marketing and Global Markets;
  • Tourism Economics and Management.

This academic year, the Faculty of Economics offers more than 70 ECTS credits in English and plans to expand this already wide offer in the future.
We also offer the advanced course "Energy and Environmental Risk Management", given entirely in English, the only degree of this kind in Italy, which is having a remarkable success (check the website: www.eerm.unimib.it).
The Lombardy region, where our University is located, is, moreover, the economic engine of Italy and offers a significant labour pool full of job opportunities for students at the end of their university careers.
Our campus is equipped with student residences as well as guest houses for the accommodation of Professors.
